Simple Spicy Shrimp Salad

Simple Spicy Shrimp salad

This Simple Spicy Shrimp Salad is so freaking good. And did I forget to mention.. SIMPLE?! This literally only took me fifteen minutes to make. This salad is the perfect thing to enjoy on a hot summer day. Even though it is spicy, it is so refreshing. The avocado in the salad is the perfect thing to offset the spice and leaves you so satisfied.

For the spice I used Tony Chachere’s More spice seasoning. I seriously love this seasoning and honestly anything they make. I grew up on this seasoning and pretty much put it on anything I eat. If you are not a fan of too spicy then you can just use their regular seasoning. It is still spicy but will be much more subtle.

To prepare the shrimp I just pat them dry, place them in a bowl, and add the seasoning. I use a cast iron to cook these in and it works super well. I also cook them in ghee which makes them all the more delicious. Ghee is clarified butter. So, if you are vegan you cannot eat it BUT if you are lactose intolerant the beautiful thing about ghee is that during the clarifying process all of the milk solids are removed. That means there is no lactose in ghee and it is safe to eat!! This is great because it adds a wonderful flavor to these shrimp. I hope you all enjoy this simple spicy shrimp salad recipe as much as I do. Let me all know what you think!!
