I feel like if you live in Texas knowing how to make Jalapeno Poppers is a right of passage. Especially bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers. Being dairy free this poses a challenge. Poppers are almost always made with cream cheese. Because why not? These Dairy Free bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers are so good. They will please both the diary free and non dairy free people in your life.
The challenging part about making these jalapeno poppers was finding the dairy free cream cheese. There are SO many options these days for dairy free alternatives, which is great! But, finding the one that actually tastes good can be really difficult. Well, the search is over. For this recipe I used Kite Hill – Cream Cheese Alternative. It is so tasty and I know this because it has been husband approved. This product is so light and it pairs so great with the bacon in this recipe. The cheese is flavorful but does not overpower any of the other ingredients.

How to make the Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
Making these Dairy Free Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers is actually so easy. First, you will want to cut the Jalapeno’s in half and scoop out the seeds (be careful not to touch any part of your face during this, it will burn). Next, fill the Jalapenos with some of your kite hill cream cheese. Then cut your bacon strip in half long ways, wrap around the popper and stick in the oven! And that is it! SO easy!!
My recommendation would be to serve these with another appetizer because they will not last long, they are that good. Maybe some of my dairy free buffalo chicken dip? With this combination, your appetizer game will be unstoppable. I hope you enjoy this recipe! Let me know what you think.
